施惠馨

施惠馨是國際知名的台美製片和導演。

2011年她獲得「Armed with a Camera Fellowship」攝影獎學金資助,拍攝短片「Play Time」(放映時間) 且在DGA首演,並在許多國際電影節巡迴播映。自此片成功出試啼聲後,她的幾部作品相繼在許多電影節獲得肯定,諸如戛納(Cannes)、SXSW、LA電影節,以及LA亞太電影節等。

 

施惠馨首部執導的長片「The Tribe」(末日訪客) 榮獲2016年法國尼斯國際影展(NIFF)「年度最佳影片獎」,與奧斯汀「另類世界」電影節「最佳導演」獎,以及加拿大「女性之眼」國際影展(FEFF)「最佳首映長片獎」。此片經由Empress Road Pictures 在北美經銷放映。

 

施惠馨第二部執導的長片「Painkillers」甫於2017年九月中旬殺青,目前正進入後製階段。此片由Title Media (What Happened toMonday) 和Lone Suspect (Fear,Inc.)合作製片,由Mischa Barton、Madeline Zima 和Grant Bowler 聯合擔綱主演。

 

今年七月在美國洛杉磯舉辦的第一屆台美電影節 (Taiwanese American Film Festival),施惠馨參與籌劃工作並擔任影展策劃總監。此影展最主要的目的是提供台美電影專業人士一個交流互惠的平台。

ROXY SHIH

Roxy is a Taiwanese-American director who was nominated for best directing at the DAYTIME EMMYS for her work on DARK/WEB in 2020.  Roxy most recently completed two episodes of ZAK'S HAUNTED MUSEUM,  a new series on Discovery+ produced by Eli Roth, and is returning to direct more episodes for season two.

 

Her latest feature, LIST OF A LIFETIME (aka Breast Cancer Bucket List) with Kelly Hu and Shannen Doherty, was acquired by Lifetime and served as their centerpiece film for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The film was nominated for Best Made-For-TV Movie by the 2022 Critic's Choice Awards and Hollywood Critics Associations Awards.

 

In 2021, Roxy directed the entire series of Facebook Watch's MIRA MIRA, a smash-hit seen by over 60 million viewers. 

 In 2019, her second feature, the horror- thriller PAINKILLERS premiered on Hulu. In 2016, Roxy directed her debut post-apocalyptic thriller, THE TRIBE, which was received well by critics and audiences alike after a successful festival run.

 

Before directing, Roxy produced over 12 features alongside a plethora of music videos, ads, and branded content. A big champion of her community, Roxy co-founded the Taiwanese American Film Festival in Los Angeles and previously served as the festival director for two years.

 

She currently hosts a podcast called TWO HORNY GOATS where she and her co-host Priska dismantle Asian-American stereotypes by tackling difficult subject matters on a weekly basis. You can find the podcast on Spotify or iTunes.
